Help Jimmy Long Legs Reach His Goal!
Let's help the animals of Iowa City!
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Hi! My name is Jimmy Long Legs! In 2012 I was found on the side of the road weighing 8.5 pounds in the dead of winter. I was far too thin, scared and didn't know how to interact with other dogs. Someone was kind enough to take me to the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center. There they fed me, loved me, neutered me and gave me shots so that I could become healthy. Then I found my mom, Whitney, who adopted me and I rescued her. The shelter paid for me to go to training classes so that I could bond with Whitney and learn how to interact with other dogs.
Since then I am at a healthy 10.5 pounds, I have my daddy, Ben and last year I got a baby brother, Chi Chi, from the shelter too! Chi Chi came in as a puppy who was too young to be on his own so he stayed with us as a foster family so that I could teach him how to be a big boy. The Friends of the Animal Center Foundation helped pay for foster supplies like food, a crate, and toys so that Chi Chi could come stay with us. I loved him so much that we decided to keep him!
Now I'm asking you to help me raise money for the Friends of the Animal Center Foundation that benefits the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center. You can help other families benefit the way me, Chi Chi and my mom and dad have. We love each other so much and life just wouldn't be the same without the help of all of our friends at these wonderful organizations. Anything you give can help me reach my goal. Thank you!
