Our annual dog fashion show and tasting event
Pawject Runway, presented by Dr. Suzanne Stock Orthodontist, is our annual doggie fashion show and tasting event!
Where: Dwell Home Furnishings & Interior Design Warehouse, 2010 James Street, Coralville, IA
When: Thursday, August 9th; 6:00pm – 9:00pm (fashion show starts at 7pm)
Don't miss the most unique fashion show of the year - the doggie fashion show!
Complimentary beer and wine tastings will start at 6:00pm and the fashion show will start at 7:00pm.
This year we will have a panel of judges to award the Top Dog Model and Top Dog Outfit. This is the only fashion show where your dog can be the star. We will also present a prize to the Top Dog Fundraiser on stage.
We will accept 15 dog models – here are the guidelines for your dog to be our next top model:
- We will accept the first 15 models that make the commitment (email christina@facf.org)
- Dog model must make a minimum $100 contribution to participate (to start a fundraising page click HERE)
- Dog model must be comfortable wearing clothes
- You are responsible for your dog's outfit: outfits can be handmade or purchased
- Dog model must be comfortable walking on a leash down the runway (models must be on leash at all time)
- Dog model must be comfortable with other dogs around
- Dog model must be comfortable with a large crowd
- The person walking the dog down the runway should wear all black
- You must provide a bio to be read as your pup struts down the runway (consider including favorite activity, treat, "gotcha day" story)
If your canine companion is not a model in the show, please leave your dog at home - this event is for humans to enjoy.
